At the beginning of a new year, the annual Party for Perennial is a time for the industry to come together, cement relationships and celebrate successes. The event, which takes place on Thursday 18th January in London’s Soho, highlights the work of the only charity dedicated to helping everyone across the industry in times of need and launches the charity’s annual HortAid fundraising campaign. Perennial is charity beneficiary of inaugural Belvoir Flower & Garden Festival 2018

Applications are now being invited for the first flower show to be held in the grounds of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. The Belvoir Flower & Garden Festival will take place on 14 and 15 July 2018 and will offer all those with a love of gardens and gardening in the East Midlands and East Anglia a floral destination for garden inspiration and shopping. Perennial, the UK’s only charity dedicated to looking after all those who work in horticulture, is the show’s beneficiary charity in 2018. Platipus forms partnership with Perennial

Platipus, leading supplier of earth and tree anchoring systems, has launched its new UK online sales platform “Platipus Direct” and for every order made through the new system, a donation will be made to Perennial. This is a great example of how horticultural businesses can partner with their trade charity to support horticulturists facing times of crisis. The Platipus Direct system has been developed in response to requests from landscape contractors and garden designers to make ordering easier. Perennial’s 2018 Special Events programme gets boost from Challenge Fencing

The range of exclusive garden tours run by Perennial through its special events programme will be boosted in 2018 by a new headline sponsorship agreement.
