Two brave thrill-seekers, Manoj Malde and Gillian Goodson, took to the skies to skydive over Wiltshire, while Brian Hawtin walked an epic 100km in under 24 hours, all to raise money for the charity that is dedicated to helping horticulturists in times of need. Manoj and Gillian, both garden designers, leapt out of a plane at 15,000ft from Netheravon Airfield near Salisbury, both smashing their fundraising targets with more money still coming in. Nurseries and growers join forces with Perennial

A growing number of wholesale nurseries and growers are coming up with interesting and creative ways to partner Perennial and work together to support people in need. Europlants, a trade nursery in Hertfordshire, recently showed its support by making Perennial the nominated charity for its open days in February. More than 500 buyers attended the two-day event and over £2,800 was raised through activities including an auction fronted by David Domoney. Van Arnhem Nursery in Surrey has also committed to on-going support. Last year they generously sponsored Mahana Mooo, an entry into the Surrey Cow Parade. The brightly decorated cow was created...
