Branching Out by Mona Abboud
Branching Out charts the story of Mona Abboud's acquisition of a large parcel of scrub land at the end of her North London garden, and the process of turning it into a sustainable garden extension.
Mona has spent 24 years creating her award-winning garden, which is home to the National Collection of Corokia as well as other unusual New Zealand plants. In 2020 she published the book Corokia - My Adventure, which explores her passion for this little-known plant.
Perennial is to inherit Mona's Garden; as the first town garden to be held by Perennial, it will be a perfect example of a typical domestic plot that has been transformed into a collector’s garden through a love of gardening.
