Holme Pierrepont Hall

Holme Pierrepont Hall

Nottinghamshire, NG12

Thursday 3 September, 10.30am – 2pm

Starting in The Courtyard Garden, there is a beautiful box parterre which was laid out in 1875, possibly by William Nesfield. The rest of the garden comprises two rose beds and several herbaceous borders with walls covered with clematis, roses and wisteria.

The East Garden features a wildflower meadow which is renowned for its dazzling displays of wild tulips, daffodils, hellebores and aconites. An apiary of bees can be found in the old orchard along with a cello housing a honey bee colony.

After our tour, we will depart to a nearby eatery for lunch.
