Wimbledon, London, SW19 5AE
Friday 7 June, 1.00pm - 5.30pm
Includes tour, afternoon tea and access to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum
Join us for an exclusive afternoon at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club; home, of course, to The Championships, the only Grand Slam tennis event still held on grass.
Taking place one month before the start of the world famous Championships, our tour will be led by Neil Stubley, Head Groundsman of the Club.
We will have two hours in his company, getting an in-depth look behind the scenes as well as at the iconic turf itself, plus exploring the picnic terraces, many of the players’ facilities, the Millennium Building and the gorgeous water gardens with their amazing views over London.
Following the tour, afternoon tea will be served on The Terrace, after which guests will be free to explore the state-of-the-art Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum with interactive exhibits, including a 200-degree cinema. It is packed with tennis memorabilia including the original Wimbledon champions’ trophies.
