The Laskett Gardens Snowdrop Event
Much Birch, Herefordshire, HR2
Thursday 27 February, 10am – 3pm
Sir Roy Strong invites you to join him alongside our Perennial Fellows for a rare and exclusive visit of his garden in the heart of winter.
It affords our guests the opportunity to appreciate the garden’s structure with the natural forms of the deciduous trees against the formality of the hedging and spectacular topiary.
We will visit Julia’s Walk, featuring an entirely new wild garden with a meandering path flanked by lavish planting of the spring flowers she loved – especially snowdrops which she collected.
Lady Emma Monson will give a short talk about Galanthus Mrs. Macnamara syn. ‘Under Milk Wood’. Guests will also be treated to a rare snowdrop theatre display followed by a hearty three course winter feast with wine in The Colonnade Court.
An exclusive snowdrop and Laskett themed gift bag will be given to all guests.
